Since Christmas, I've been testing out a few new beauty and skincare products I'd been gifted - both by my friends/family and myself, of course - so I thought I'd do a little round up of my current faves. As you've probably guessed by now, I LOVE trying all sorts of new products and so I'm super happy I've found a few new cult additions to add to my - quite hefty - collection. It would be rude not to share, right?

Better late than ever, the obligatory 'What I Got For Christmas' post has arrived. These are some of my favourite posts to read, although they mainly resort in me adding practically every item to my ever-growing wish list - is it too early to start a list for next Christmas? Instead of listing everything - including the chocolate coins and novelty socks - I got this year, I thought I would do a roundup of my favourite gifts I received. This year was very appropriately 'millennial' themed, with a few interior pieces like this ring holder from Oliver Bonas. I'm a tad obsessed with everything Oliver Bonas right now and they have just opened up a new store near where I leave which makes it so much worse. They do the perfect mix of modern millennial home-wear items - think so many trinket dishes and the quirkiest of wall art - all of which with a slight antique twist.

Firstly, I think it's safe to say this is the most excited i have been for a delivery in a long time. Being a self-confessed beauty-junkie, I love trying new skincare and beauty products, so when it was announced that Glossier was finally coming to the UK, i'd found the perfect excuse. I'd marked October in my diary as the brand's arrival, but in all honestly - with the week sweeping by - i'd completely forgotten all about it. That was, until that lunchtime social media check that brightened up my day with the perfect reminder. 5pm then came along and with a few quick - but carefully thought out - clicks, I may have went a bit stir crazy. It's safe to say my bank balance is now feeling a bit worse for wear. But all in the name of blogging, right? It's 'research', I say.

Iv'e always been 'into' interior design and home decor - changing around my room every few weeks - but it's only really in the last year or so where I've really started personalising my space. As you may know by now, I'm someone who is very prone to stress and anxiety and so having a safe and cosy place to come home to at the end of a long day is something that really helps ease those daily stresses.

The general theme I - accidentally - went for was the millennial pink, with of course a side of excessive amounts of pillows and a few too many battery operated boxes to turn on at the end of the day. I wanted to have little corners of inspiration - whether that be a cliche quote or a 'cute as' dream catcher - that would make that 7am start a little easier. It also helps me stick to a routine - something that is oh so helpful for us anxiety sufferers (welcome to the exclusive club.) When I wake up in the morning ready - or not so ready - to start the day, I always make sure I make my bed and leave it tidy for when that clock hits 5:30pm and I finally arrive home. This is where I turn on all my fairy and decorative lights, take off my make-up - not forgetting the obligatory pyjama change (it's never too early for PJ's) - 100% ready to crash into bed after I've re-fueled with dinner.

So, in the hopes you might find some home inspiration, here are a few snippets of my room...

A few weeks ago, the lovely team at Case Station contacted me asking if I wanted to design two phone cases - of course, I jumped at the chance. I'd seen their brand mentioned on a few Instagram posts here and there but apart from that if i'm honest i'd not really heard of them before. Although now is a completely different story. I've already recommended them to pretty much all my family and can't wait to share with you my thoughts (along with a few millennial inspired flat lays.)

Let's start with a few notes about the brand itself. Case Station have spent the last 10 years engineering and developing their brand - one that prides itself through innovation and its ability to 'allow customers to tell the story of who they are.' In short, they sell protective cases for all the popular devices out there - but in a much more exciting way. They offer 'personalisation' where you can choose from a variety of Case Station Art, independent designer prints and even your own photos. You can also add text - say hello to the monogramed phone case.

It's that time again! Another month has flown by and here we are in September - and if i'm going to be honest, i'm pretty happy about it. Although August was my birthday month, there's nothing that excites me more than the prospect of Autumn and dare I say it... Christmas. I love everything about Autumn and so it will come as no surprise that this months wish list includes a fair few jumpers (and the dreamiest boots.) I for one can't wait for darker evenings, candles galore, comfort food and many many layers. Seriously, you may as well throw some tinsel at me now.

Happy Monday!

A few weeks ago the lovely team at Hola Coco kindly sent me a sample pot of their Coconut Oil Hair Mask to try and I was unbelievably excited as i've been on the hunt for a new hair mask for what seems like forever.
